    High volume of quality players for a new Social Casino game, meeting ROI target with lower CPI.

    BACKGROUND

    PokerStars is a well-known brand for real money poker players. After launching a social casino mobile game, they partnered with DAU-UP to plan and execute a UA strategy, recognizing the experience, exemplary results, and marketing advice of DAU-UP.

    OUR APPROACH

    DAU-UP chose Google as the main media partner for the PokerStars campaign, acknowledging the benefits of the platform in terms of quality, scale, and acquisition cost.
    DAU-UP’s API integration with Google and applied methodology proved to deliver highly engaged players who monetize well, on a relatively lower CPI. DAU-UP used its proprietary database to optimize segmentations on search campaigns by day 1, 3,  7, and 14 ARPU and ROI.
    Following deep analysis of the game and user profiles, DAU-UP’s creative studio designed a wide selection of appealing ads. These ads use the latest Google Ad products targeting high intent users; engaged poker players who are actively searching for poker apps and have high probability to deposit.

    RESULT

    High volume of top quality players across multiple GEOs at low CPI generating 13% daily ROI.

    GOAL

    Acquire new, monetizable players for Castle Clash while returning a high percentage of churned players to the game.

    BACKGROUND

    IGG and DAU-UP already shared a couple of years of history, successfully growing canvas games on Facebook. When IGG made a strategic shift to mobile, we offered our client a winning UA strategy to scale the game with incent and non-incent traffic through our Mobile Gaming Network.

    OUR APPROACH

    DAU-UP experts developed a targeted and cost-effective UA strategy geared for maximized return. After the in-depth analysis of user profiles, we created a variety of ads designed to appeal to the specific audience. With dozens of direct publishers and media sources, we had the ability to drive high quality incent traffic. Our ongoing data-driven optimization enabled us to select the most effective media and scale quickly with good retention and relatively low CPI rates.

    RESULT

    We increased the number of DAU by 48% and brought back 37% of previously churned users.

    GOAL

    Reach new, quality, monetizable players in reasonable CPIs in Tier 1 markets.

    BACKGROUND

    Monster Legends and Dragon City Mobile are mature games with large amounts of users over Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets. It remained difficult to maintain precise targeting as in Facebook mainly when the goal is to hit in large scales consistently. Social Point tasked DAU-UP with finding new and innovative ways to acquire large numbers of quality players for the games.

    OUR APPROACH

    We researched Monster Legends and Dragon City user profiles and their behavior using the Google platform. And developed a Google Media solution utilizing the latest app promotion tools to reach new and monetizable players. With our smart media buying tools we acquired totally fresh new users who had never before ventured to play these games.

    RESULT

    We doubled the number of players and decreased CPI cost by 50%, thereby growing the games’ DAU and MAU within tight ROI targets.

    BACKGROUND

    Pacific Interactive had experienced great long-term success partnering with DAU-UP in acquiring users for HOF in Tier 1 countries. Now, they were ready to conquer the Tier 2 market. Aware of the challenges involved in winning non-English speaking markets, they turned to DAU-UP for a creative solution.

    OUR APPROACH

    Armed with in-depth experience working with global markets, we launched an ambitious and creative campaign, tailored to achieve the same high ROI results we were achieving for HOF in tier 1. Combining our in depth market research skills with localized creative and experience in targeting local markets, enabled us to tweak our methodology to create a unique strategy per market, for real impact.

    RESULT

    We were very quickly able to match our tier 1 ROI results, delivering thousands of daily, active and loyal players from tier 2 markets. Today, we remain committed to HOF’s global growth, and continue to penetrate new markets.
